cjd4654
I just purchased 4 INFINITY KAPPA 682.7CF speakers 2 for the front & 2 for the rear w/ a INFINITY REFERENCE 475A amp for my 02 Mercury Mountaineer. Also I will be using this with my factory Sub & amp. So does anyone think this will be a good combination & will I receive a great sound? Also does anyone have this particular speaker if so could you share your experince with them?
installthis06
Those speakers are good..but i would ditch the factory sub and amp
VBLUE42
I use INFINITY REFERENCE 5010 CS components with my D3 along with the Pio DEQ-9200 and they sound amazing. I would say you should get a similar result.

stacey
I have 250 watts going to the sub "Memphis class D" and a 10" M class sub also from Memphis in the Honda van. I have 1000 watts class D and two 12" M3 Mojo's in my truck.(1 Ohm) Used Raamat for sound on both. (Raamaudio.com)
dsf3g
This topic is old, but just in case other read it, here's my take on infinity Reference series speakers: unpleasantly bright. I installed 5 1/4" 5010 CS reference series in my MR2 using the stock amplifiers, and couldn't believe how shrill the sound was at first. Cymbals felt like knives cutting into your ear drums and sybillance was very harsh. The speakers did mellow after several months, but they're still brighter than I'd like. stacey
You need to tone your tweeter down 3db on the crossover!
whtcrxghst
Yep, turn the tweets down. Inifiniti has always been a very bright speaker, which is not something I like, but some do
