Im thinking about getting an ipod video and the controller cable for my D3 but i just wanted to know first, can i control to play all the videos ( the songs i know ) from the D3 or do i have to put them to play in the ipod. Another thing, does the avic chargers the Ipod ? Reason for this is i just wanted to put the ipod in the glove box, hidden, cuz i would put my videos and mp3s on it and once in a while i would updated, i just needed it to act as a hard drive for musics and videos, but i guess that if i have to control the pl;ay of the videos on the ipod it would not do what i wanted. whtcrxghst Posted August 9, 2007 Report Share Posted August 9, 2007 Yes, it charges the ipod. For playing videos, you have to hit 'play' on the ipod the first time. In other words, you can put all your music videos in a playlist, go to the ipod source, hit play on the ipod ONCE, and then you will be able to use track up/down on the D3 screen to go to different videos Quote Link to post Share on other sites
