computerdoc
Successful install of the D3 in my 2005 Honda CR-V (thanks to your help!). Only thing is that when I check hardware connections it registers 0 for VSS. But when I go to the status screen, it shows several thousand speed pulses. I am pretty sure I got it connected properly (blue wire on module to left of steering column under shroud near turn signal). Also, no 3D updating.
computerdoc
Oops, I meant blue/white wire.
bouchigo
Check the hardware connections when the car is moving. On mine it beeps and the speed pulse actually increases as I speed up. I have the AVIC-80DVD, but should be the same concept for yours. Also, if it set itself up as "Simple Hybrid" mode, make sure you clear it and drive so it can pick up the speed pulse and use the 3D mode.
computerdoc
In hardware connections, speed pulse stays at zero when I am driving. I will clear the simple hybrid mode next time I drive it and let you know what happens.
