rmo55c
In another thread, I explained my anger towards the charge incurred when my unit froze outside of warranty and pioneer's stating I needed a new HDD. Well I got my unit back today and it has a new HDD in it, but which software I do not know??? Is there any way to tell which bypass I need to use without installing the unit in the car? And even if I have to install it in the car, how would I tell then? I got a part number for the HDD but I don't know if that will help - CXX2121 Thanks guys for any input. whtcrxghst
I would just do the 2-wire bypass when you install it and see if it works like that. If it doesn't, download the patch and then it will work
rmo55c
cool thanks - thats what I was thinking too, but just wanted to get another opinion. At least it won't hurt to ground the 2 wires and see.
