ramman949
Do we have to pay for the upgraded NAV disks from Pioneer? I see all the threads about people paying for them, and or the torrents for them. But Im not sure if thats for those whom didnt register there product or not kind of thing. Can anyone please slap me around once and confirm this? Thanks and sorry for the noob question. I just want to make 100% sure I understand it.
tjc005
The update discs aren't free, unless you happen to know someone. I think they are, what, $250 from pioneer?
kingchkn
Pioneer used to offer map updates for free if you have a registered unit. Now they combined the map updates with the hardware updates into one disc, and yes, you are raped for $250 PLUS tax PLUS shipping. So for almost $300 you too can drive with the 2006 updated maps.
