Fct505
ahaha.. thank you very much.. i figured large letters would get attention (and it did) so do i use work wire taps?
ChristopherLCamacho
use anything that will ground the parking brake. what i would do it strip a portion of the parking brake wire from the eclipse nav and tie it into the ground for the eclipse nav. use solder, wire taps, its all good. most people prefer solder and heat shrink. Fct505
thanks ... what about if i want to use a backup camera. is their anything else i have to ground?
ChristopherLCamacho
i dont remember how the rear cam looks for eclipse i believe it just plugs into the unit, if not you might need switched 12 volts, ground, and reverse input for the cam to work when you go in reverse. cntrylvr79
You'll have to use the eclipse camera. It's a proprietary plug that plugs into the back of the unit. The unit then provides power to the camera.

MisFit
you cant have it connected to the parking brake and grounded. if it was already connected to the parking brake, disconnect it , then ground it
