bmegdal
I am looking at putting a Z2 in my 1995 Toyota Supra, but dash the curves around the driver, so the radio is not pointed straight ahead in the car...it is about 30 degrees off. This greatly exceeds the 10 degrees Pioneer says is OK, and the tech rep on the phone had no other suggestions. Is there any hope of this working? I was thinking that maybe the gyro mounting can be rotated internally? Wish I could look inside one, or see a photo to see if this is possible. Thanks - Barry
wikked
yeah there is an option to tell it that the unit is sideways - i don't know how to get to it off the top of my head, but i definitely know it's there.. you just need to look in the manual or play around long enough in the settings to find it
bmegdal
There is a setting in the manual that allows up to 10 degrees to either side, but no more than that. That is why I think I need to look at turning the gyro mechanically inside the box.
bmegdal
Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the Z2 that shows the gyro mounting so I can see if it can be turned? Or maybe a diagram from the service manual?
