caglezxj
Does it work? I read all the info in the book and on crutchfield, but would like to know do they play on the D3. I already bought a stand alone that will go in my glove box if it won't. But I would like to skip this if not needed.
audiguy
Yes DVD+R disc's work just fine for movies, but to copy the nav disc you need a DL DVD. Also, divx disc's work great and fit the screen much better; however, you lose the menu controls.
caglezxj
So DVD+R's work fine and the menu still works? I need to know so I can return the stand alone back to crutchfield. They told me it would not work with dvd+r's. Which we have 250 dvd+r movies. I am calling crutchfield as we speak.

VBLUE42
For the record just to clear this up. All writable dvd's work on the D3. Brand of media is what I would be concerned with. In my experience, Memorex media is the worst. They have horrible quality standards.
