D3in2000S4 Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Since installing the D3 in my 2000 S4 I'm getting some solid high pitch chirping at a regular frequency coming from the speakers. The chirp's volume remains constant regardless of the D3's volume. I also get some hiss coming from all of the speakers. My car is a 2000 S4 with the Bose stereo and aside from the D3 head unit everything is stock. People have advised me that the stock Bose amp is crap and should be replaced.
