sol234
Can anyone help? I have a 2006 300C and i tried to do a bypass on my avic z1 yesterday and now i get this weird noise. The weird thing is that its not alternator noise because the engine dosen't have to be running to get the noise. I did the bypass by grounding the way it said on this site. Also, does anyone know how to install the illumination and the speed sensor on the chrysler 300 C?
hottwhyrd
did you use an interface? if you bought all the parts your car calls for than you should have vss and rev and ill at the deck. through a can-bus adapter do you have the boston system? is the noise simply a hiss? sol234
Yes i have a boston system and an interface. It hard for me to describe the noise. Its more like a weird buzz.
sol234
ok, I have found the wires for the illumanation and the speed sensor. I still can't get rid of the noise though. Does anyone have any suggestions on how the grounds should work?
hottwhyrd
ehh the ground at the deck should be sufficient. does the noise only happen when the dvd laser is moving?
sol234
The noise is constant. It happens as soon as the unit boots up.
