thatdood
A few years ago I had a big truck and extra room so I added a VCR, connected it to my HU with RCA's, and used the TV tuner built into the VCR. I ran a piece of speaker wire from the VCR's tuner to the roof of the car making sure it touched the metal. Turned it into a big antenna
rgonzlz
yeah i thought about using the car as an antenna but didnt think about the vcr. lol ill spend 100 and found some on ebay but they say they work with older model d1 and d2 not the d3. i just wanted to watch or listen to the news while waiting. can i get a rgb to ip bus cable? if that exists, will it work then? im in a celica and dont feel the whole vcr on the floor thing working for me. a good laugh though. any other ideas? whtcrxghst
The problem with the D3 and those older tuners is that the D3 does not have A/V bus, and those tuners require it. You would probably be better off buying a universal stand-alone TV tuner and running it in through the A/V inputs on the D3
RYCO13
do they really make one I can hook to my d3? in the av hook ups? I know the chains suck but do they sale them? what's the best to get?
