mtnbiker717 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Share Posted September 11, 2007 I have a '99 Explorer, inside my radio bay, I had two connectors that hooked up to the stock radio, one had 3 pins high and 7 pins wide, on the middle row, there was a gray w/black stripe wire, that was my vss wire, it was ment to hook up too the upgraded radio with the speed sensitive volume control. Hope this helps! I would go to your local ford dealer, walk into the service bay and find a tech and ask them too look up what color your VSS wire is and if it matches what is behind your deck you should be in service Quote Link to post Share on other sites
