rjjone2
you are using the wrong micro bypass - this one is what it's designer directed me to use: http://amzn.com/B00VKQ6ECQ I bought one from diybypass.com that did not work on my 4100. I contacted the seller and he said the timing changed between the 4000 and 4100 so he tweaked the circuit and sent a replacement to me in the mail. Will install it this weekend and let you know. rjjone2
I wanted to report that the new bypass i got from diybypass.com does work with the 4100. Not sure if the guy will update his website to show that he has one to support the timing of the 4100 but if you order one from him I would make sure and specify. JackMan
I had a TR-7 laying around, but decided that a simple relay/hidden micro (mom-on) switch was easier and fool proof. I just bought a 4000 and am really looking forward to using CarPlay! I hope to have everything up and running in my Honda GD Fit Sport by this weekend
crazhorse
I bought a bypass for my 4100 from micro bypass.com... It would work intermittently. emailed him back and forth troubleshooting... Made sure it was the correct one etc... He sent me another one to make sure it wasn't faulty. What I think the problem was I have a iPod classic that will play video. If I have a DVD in the drive and the iPod hooked up when the second nag screen comes up the ok is grayed out. If I don't have the iPod connected it works no problem.
