I am on my second Avic-6000 as the first unit had a bad reverse signal control that wouldn't allow the unit to see vdc when placed in reverse. I had to return it and just received the replacement and all its functions seem ok. The question I have now is that for some reason I thought that the first one was allowing me to control the playing of my MP3 files that are located on my phone via BT. I can stream Pandora without any issues. I can also use the phones MP3 player to play audio thru the AVIC. I cannot however control the playing thru the head unit. I have the smartphone setup configured as "Other" and method as "Wirelessly via BT" so everything should work. If I didn't have that configured correctly, I wouldn't be able to stream Pandora, correct? Any input appreciated. If this unit will not do what I am trying to make it do, let me know so I am not spinning my wheels. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
