I noticed Pioneer's site for the 8100 NEX states "Traffic and Weather Now!" from SiriusXM, and that is also listed as a feature of the SXV300 tuner. I know the 8000 gets traffic over FM, so what exactly is this Traffic and Weather service from SiriusXM and how is it represented on the 8100? (This seems to be separate and apart from the AvicSync feature which we know isn't out yet... if ever...) -Keith Quote Link to post Share on other sites
kelkin Posted June 10, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2015 Never mind.. I did the obvious and downloaded the manual, didn't think of that until after I posted. For anyone interested, it seems you select what city you're interested in and it always saves the latest traffic/weather recording from the corresponding SiriusXM traffic/weather channel and plays it from the beginning when you press the button.
