trellaine
I am really confused and seem to get dizzy trying to understand what I need to do in order to run this sdxc card in my stereo? I read that a 128gb card formatted to NTFS will work? But I run on macs. Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to use my 128gb sdxc card in my nex receiver? joemamma1954
Here is what I did. I run Mac also, and have done this with 64gb and 256gb sdcard. I used disc utility to delete all files including hidden files. Then formatted with same utility to format to fat32. And both work perfectly. I did not format to NTFS, because the head unit categorizes better with fat32. I used Samsung pro 64gb sdcard, and Pny 256gb. I have been using for 6 months now and no problems. I have read, copy all your music, pictures or video once and leave it alone. If you delete and copy numerous times, you stand a chance of file corruption. FYI, sdcards up to 32gb use fat32, larger cards use exfat, exfat is Microsoft and they charge companies to read exfat. Pioneer will not pay MS, and therefore, will only support fat32. trellaine
Oh wow, that would be cool if it works for me!! I just got the card in the mail, literally 10 minutes ago. Gonna fire it up in the imac. Ill give that a try. PS I dont have option for FAT32

joemamma1954
I have over 200 ripped DVDs on my sdcard, so I can play them on the headrest monitors using dual zone for my 2 girls, age 3 and 5.
