imak10up Posted July 15, 2015 Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 I have a new Ipod touch and I use it strictly for my car. The issue is that every time i turn the car off I have to disconnect my Ipod and then reconnect it to get my 8100 to recognize it. I have it connected via a lightening cable. I would like to just leave it attached all the time and be recognized when i start the car. Is that a possibility? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
n7vy Posted July 15, 2015 Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 I have an older touch that has the 30 pin connector that is in my glove box connected to usb2. Works as it should. I'm using an apple supplied cable to attach it to my 4000nex. It's always connected and when asked it plays the music that is on it. Usually it's something simple, setting, cable that is the problem.
