M.J.H.
I have an AVIC-D3, recently reset my car's ECU so it deleted my previous background. So basically all of my old memory on the unit was lost. I remember the first time I uploaded a background I'm pretty sure all that I did was make a folder on the CD-R data disc named "PICTURES" and filled the CD with a bunch of other miscellaneous crap like mpg/mpeg videos, etc. But for some reason after burning a few CD's when I go to pick a background from a disc it's coming up "no data on disc, please insert correct disc, etc." But after trying this 5 times, I don't know what I am doing wrong? I don't want to waste another 5 CD's! I tried filling the rest of the disc with MP3's, that didn't work. I tried ONLY burning the PICTURES folder on the disc, that didn't work. What am I doing wrong? PaisanNYC
dont use MP3s or MPEG videos. Just use dummy crap files.
