I have the harnesses for the steering wheel controls, Constar and xm that work with this radio. Unfortunately the rear channels have died so I am considering upgrading to the 4100nex head unit. Will my existing harnesses and xm tuner work so I only have to buy the radio? I stopped by an audio shop in Memphis today and the sales guy said it would be a simple plug and play install with all of the existing wiring/harnesses? I'm not sure so I wanted to ask. It would be great to not have to buy those over again. He said since they were all aftermarket they worked with all radios? Thanks in advance for your help. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
huddy Posted January 17, 2016 Report Share Posted January 17, 2016 You will have to update the SiriusXM tuner, but the steering wheel harness should be compatible. When I went from a 7010BT to my 6000NEX, that's what the installer did. Saved me a few bucks. Also you should install the new BT mic vs using the old one. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
