c1i4m0nd Posted October 1, 2016 Report Share Posted October 1, 2016 I have a 2014 Civic LX and I wanted the backup camera to display on the Pioneer. Crutchfield and Metra sold me the HDCC-02 but I returned it. The Metra Axxess HDCC-02 caused the factory screen to stay on constantly, the Pioneer screen to think I had cameras connected but showed black instead, and the factory camera stayed on the small Honda screen. So now the backup camera still only displays on the factory screen. Does anyone know if it can be connected to the Pioneer? My installer acted like it couldn't be. He didn't think it would work without the HDCC-02 and an aftermarket stereo. Do I really have to buy a new cam and pay for that installation just for viewing it on the Pioneer? I have a Best Buy Autotech doing this Thursday at my third appointment for one job. I just want to make sure it gets done right so I'm not asking for my bill to be refunded.
