mentalcase Posted October 18, 2016 Report Share Posted October 18, 2016 So about 30 min I had the urge to update my 8100nex from 1.01 to 1.05. I loaded up the thumb drive and started to process on my unit. Well the first process went ok, but once the unit rebooted, the update failed and I'm now stuck in a recovery boot loop. I've tried re doing my flash drive with 1.05 and then with 1.03 to no success. I thought about trying to load the software to an SD card, but there is no way for me to engage the screen to allow SD card access. Any ideas here? I thought about calling Pioneer and I will, but I'm fairly certain they are going to ask me to send it in and i'm no longer under warranty. Good thing I bought a square trade warranty.
