Guest treuedectra Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 i have a D2 installed in a semi. my friendly neighborhood rim shop mexican installed a toggle switch for the parking brake lead, but could not really explain it's use too much to me due to a language barrier. at what point should i be throwing the switch on? when i switch it on while i'm moving, all options in the nav menu come on, then grey back out after 5 seconds. what am i doing wrong? also, does anyone have any ideas on modifying the software so it knows to keep my vehicle off of side streets that do not allow for semis? i know that's a stretch, but if it were possible for me to get in and play around with the software and burn a new map disc, it would make this D2 even more useful to me, considering what i'm driving around in. thanks to all.
