bad news bears

ok my z-1 crapped out, it had a internal short somewhere and fried in this process. however, also in this process the radio somehow sent a curent threw the car and not the car computer is affected car still runs and everyhting but it says i have an open door even when there all shut and the trip meter was erased does anyone know a manual bypass to reset the computer?? i know this isnt a mazda post but hey might as well ask. the real question is i bought a z-2 can i use the same gps and stuff like that? im ganna replace the harness though and also the 2 wire bypass wont work on it hu?? any input on my situation would help a bunch thanks in advance

Pretty easy to reset a car ecu. Just disconnect the battery for a little while, then reconnect. Ecu reset.
