drunkendog47 Posted October 12, 2007 Report Share Posted October 12, 2007 Ive had an N2 that was given to me that had the screen ripped out of it, attempted theft. I tried to fix it couple times, ordered some parts and never managed to get the screen to go in and out or fully function but the touch screen and all the buttons aswell. Anyways putting it back together was a failure because after getting everything hooked up so I could put it back together, I turn it on, and I get the Mechanism Failure display and it wont accept CD's. Stumped on that one because it worked 20 minutes before I pulled everything back apart. So I was curious to see if I could use the N2 Brain on my old 5700 along with the Nav discs? This question may have already been answered but I didnt see it. I know people have told me I could use the AVIC-88 but Ive had trouble finding a decent one. Sorry about the long post.
