HiFiSi Posted October 15, 2007 Report Share Posted October 15, 2007 The only way the D3 could affect your car's speedometer would be if you hooked the wrong wire from the D3 to the car's VSS wire? Just a guess, really. But if you hooked everything up right, it shouldn't cause that to happen. Unless there was something wrong with the unit itself, like it was sending voltage out through it's VSS wire for some reason. The only way to find out would be to disconnect the D3's speed signal wire from the car and see if it fixes the problem. If it doesn't, the problem lies somewhere else.
