official_style
ok im gonna pick that up, thanks. is there any way to get the center console cd changer to work with the avic? if not, does gm make like some kind of pocket or something that fits in there? i dont want to have a non working cd changer right in the middle of my console! dawgbone
Although I'm sure it would work, but personally, I would ebay off the changer and get your storage back. The HDD of the Z2 gladly takes the changer's job. you would probably have to call, but http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ is a great source.
Dabigcheezze
they DO make a part, it replaces the whole front part of the console, but with a pocket. It was for the non changer models.
official_style
so it will match up with the color of the denalis console right? what truck would i order this for when i go to the dealer?
Dabigcheezze
Denali, tell them you DONT have a changer
official_style
got it, i thought alllll denalis had the changer standard! is the avic able to control the bose sub with the sub woofer controls, or just like thru the equalizer?
shotgun_customs
The GM changer will not work with the AVIC. And you're right that all the Denali's came with the changer. The AVIC will not be able to control the sub independently from the rest of the speakers, only w/ the EQ. Be sure to set all of the factory audio controls to zero before removing the radio. All of the settings are stored in the Bose amp.
Dabigcheezze
Sorry, Suburbans,or any of the trucks of the same year of your Denali
official_style
cool. now as far as the steering wheel interface, i have found the PAC SWI-PS and the soundgate REMPIOGM, but the soundgate says it only works on denalis till 04. i thought 03-06 is the same? is there any difference, or should i just order up the PAC? thanks for all the help! basically all i will lose when this is all done is the rear controls will not work anymore right?
