skicrave
So I just picked one up from Best Buy and I was appalled to find that power and ground aren't handled over the IP-Bus. That's the goofiest thing I've ever seen. Anyway, now that I'm going to have to re-solder my harness anyway (this and ducatiboy's module need to be installed), I'm wondering if I should wait until I can get the ND-BT1. Does it also require a separate connection for 12v and ground, or is that handled through the DIN connector?
Guest
If I remember right, the ND-BT1 is all in one, no separate power or anything.
skicrave
Okay, I guess I'll go ahead and wire up ducati's flasher module and the iPod interface, from what I can tell the BT1 does not require power and ground.
ducatiboy
You are right the bluetooth adapter has only one connection and that is into the back of the Z1. That's it, just plug in one connector and you are done. Everything else seems to require seperate power and ground.
skicrave
Well, I guess that's a relief, because I just put my car back together and the last thing I want to do is take it all apart to install the Bluetooth module. BTW, I installed your flasher module as well, thanks for the quick shipping and solid product. Jason
