kruff10
I am thinking about installing a factory delphi nav into my 2004 yukon, will i have to replace the wiring harness?
mazda_3
if you say it is a oem nav then you should not have to but you will have to buy several addons such as the dvd player for the nav cd the antenna and w/e else you will need to make the factory nav work

superjet
Theftlock will prevent you from putting in a different factory deck than what the car originally came with.
mrgoodbar67
factory lock can be reset by a dealer. its called "flashing" so that wnt be a problem. but about the stock nav, your yukon should have premium bose sound from factory in order to connect a stock nav..............other wise, no go

mazda_3
The factory nav that i1m getting is plug and play, my question is that i have the d 3 installed now , will i have to change the wire harness to install the factory nav? you basically answered your own question. You said the unit was plug and play your yukon has a factory connector still(unless you didnt buy the extra harness and hardwired the d3 harness in to the car) Then you would have to put your stock harness back in. kruff10
ok i lost the factory harness, would the dealer have one?
mazda_3
the dealercan get very expensive because they will charge you for an entire audio harness they wont just sell you a cut off peice. Your best bet would be to buyone off of ebay. newer model ones http://cgi.ebay.ca/Radio-wiring-Harness ... dZViewItem older model ones http://cgi.ebay.ca/Radio-wiring-Harness ... dZViewItem i dont know which year your car is. But to make sure that you actually need this harness did you cut off the connector on the car and hardwire your d3 in?
