StevenRapp
Out of nowhere, the GPS started acting a little, "Sluggish" only in my neighborhood. I assumed that since my development is fairly new that perhaps the map scale wasn't correct in the system as it was showing me driving off road at the top of the development. Seems pretty, "On" most other places I drive. But, just a little while ago, I noticed that in Settings, "Excessive Vibration" goes on and off under Hardware configuration. In the manual it says that this means that the angle of installation has changed. Anyone hear of this? Fix? Something I should worry about?
dan46n2
I just installed my Z1 and had that message pop up as I was changing the position of the gps unit. Hopefully this doesn't require a full system reset.
Webheadfred
I noticed this as well so I thought I'd try a little test. I got a CD and had it record while I was driving. It recorded perfectly as did the GPS display move perfectly. I assume if it were too bumpy, the excessive vibration would either crash the hard drive or not allow it to function. Neither has happened so I'm not going to worry about it until it does. Fred
