dawgbone
I'm curious to know where you're taking your unit.... I tried to get a new hard drive, called Pioneer. Their response was that I needed to have the unit serviced by a "service center"??? WTF is that? I do live in southern Louisiana, in which is why I install my own chit... What kinda issues are you having with it? I read your post about the engine noise..... sounds almost like an install issue.... what was the $1300 charge for?

dawgbone
thats for HD, control modual chip, FM modual, main board, labor Wow...in other words a whole new unit...geez... I wouldn't pay it.....1300 is just flat out retarded...who are you bringing it to? Surely Pioneer wouldn't do that to their customers....being that you can get a OG unit for less....even with a warranty.... Can you bring it to anyone else...or send it to pioneer?
