e46325ci Posted November 20, 2007 Report Share Posted November 20, 2007 hey guys i did the bypass and it worked but now my red brake light wont come on when the ebrake is engaged. now the guys who installed it before did tap into my brake wire and i had took that tap off so i could ground it but now my ebrake light wont come on when i engage it, any ideas on why this is happening and how i can fix it guys? HiFiSi Posted November 20, 2007 Report Share Posted November 20, 2007 Either you loosened the parking brake wire from the switch when you were unhooking everything or the wire might have a break in it where the old splice was.
