GarrettF
I have an N2 instaled in my car. The Brain is mounted with the brackets to the floor of the car under the passanger seat, it is straight /level and true. The unit is modded to play video in motion (parking brake grounded, and the 2 pins on the bottom are soldered together. Everything works and the unit sounds great but the Nav is just awful. I have the speed sensor hooked up t the correct wire for the vehicle speed sensor but the speed pulse is intermitent and the "learning" hasnt gone past 46 or so miles, it is in 3d hybrid mode but the learning has stopped. If i can get the speed pule working do you think the arrow will stop going off in weird directons or going backwards by itself? Could the video in motion mod have effected Nav in any way? Any adive is greatly appreciated!
adidascrazy1
Where do you have the antenna placed and do you have the plastic side facing the sky where ever it is???
cntrylvr79
Also are the arrows on the brain facing the front and rear of the vehicle? What year/make/model is the avic installed in? Where'd you get the vss wire? How'd you tap into it? Did you use the stupid connector pioneer provides? In the learning status screen does the speed pulse count continue to go up while the vehicle is moving or does it stop randomly while the car is moving?
