mrgoodbar67 Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 i have a d3 with an xm nav traffic installed. i have the nav traff module placed under the front pass floor between the carpet and metal floor board. the module does not move at all when the car is in motion. so that isnt it. all reception is always high. however, when ever i turn the car on and the nav is initializing, i hear a weird sound coming from the pass foot well area. almost like a popping sound but not too loud. it always happens only when i turn the car on. never during driving. anyone have that same sound? is it the nav or the xm module? this didnt happen until i installed the units Quote Link to post Share on other sites
