GSXR_RCR Posted December 4, 2007 Report Share Posted December 4, 2007 your problem here will be finding a ribbon cable to extend the screen being farther away from the head unit, you can set it to not oopen and close so thats not a problem. if you want to do this you may just look into a d3 or something that does not have a flip out. anything is possible and someone has to try it the first time. GSXR_RCR Posted December 12, 2007 Report Share Posted December 12, 2007 your in new territory so your kinda on your own, but anytime you lengthen any cable there is always going to be signal loss of some time, usually this happens over pretty decent long runs, but i guess it could happen on this too being the signal isnt that strong to begin with.
