Fracken21 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 Here's the stuff you need: dash kit: Metra 99-9011 Harness: Metra XSVI-9003 Antenna Adapter: Metra 40-EU55 Just pick up this stuff and it's a snap, the dash kit comes with instructions on how to take the dash apart. I've used an xsvi-9003 before it didn't work right. newer vw cars don't have an accessory signal behind the radio. This piece creates the signal but I used it once and it just randomly would turnoff the radio. I recommend just buying a regular metra 70-9003 harness and running an accessory lead to the ignition harness but that's a little difficult for a newbie. So try the xsvi-9003, i think best buy carries it, so this way if it doesn't work like my situation you can return it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
