Finally got all the parts and self installed my D3 with BT, XM, and IPOD. Getting it all stuffed in was difficult but the result was great. I was able to connect my wife's Razor phone and my XV6700. Thanks for the input from various members. Stan

Finally, others with a newer Passat. I received a D3 for Christmas and would like to install myself into an 07 wagon. I have the Metra install stuff, but not clear on how to remove my factory radio. Can anyone help? thanks.

I would like to install myself. Is there a harness that has a plug for my car and for a D3? Thanks.
