Finally got all the parts and self installed my D3 with BT, XM, and IPOD. Getting it all stuffed in was difficult but the result was great. I was able to connect my wife's Razor phone and my XV6700. Thanks for the input from various members. Stan

a747ba I really appreciate your help. I just returned my Metra harness and ordered the Enfig (shipped 3 day was about $93). I will let you know how things go when I receive the parts. Thanks again.

Finally, others with a newer Passat. I received a D3 for Christmas and would like to install myself into an 07 wagon. I have the Metra install stuff, but not clear on how to remove my factory radio. Can anyone help? thanks.
