I just bought the integration adapter from best buy along with the antenna adapter and install kit but the guy there told me that the hard part about putting this in your self if hooking up the parking break and speed-o-meter and reverse. I think I am going to do the bypass right off the bat so I ain't studing the parking break but what about hooking up the speed-o-meter and reverse? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks! HiFiSi Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 The reverse signal is easy. You just tap into the wire going to one of the reverse lights in your rear end. They even supply the wire taps so you don't even have to cut the wire, you just clamp it on one of the reverse lamp wires and run it to the D3. As for the VSS, it works the same way, but you just have to locate where the VSS wire is in your car. I can't help you with finding where exactly the wire is on your truck, but I'm sure somebody here can. Try checking the vehicle specific wiring board on here, somebody might have already answered that for you. Once you actually locate the wire, it's pretty simple. You just tap into it just like you do with the reverse signal wire. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
