vicdawg, just to confirm you removed power for a few minutes and reconnected, correct?

k_s2000, did you have the same problem as me with the app connection being set on wired/bluetooth and having them almost appear backwards. You just removed power for 30 minutes and it fixed it? Please let me know, I am going to have to try it tonight.

My issues are the following, the app connection settings are bluetooth and wired. If i choose wired the bluetooth option to stream music doesn't work and the pandora app doesn't work. Basically music will not play wired or with bluetooth. If i choose bluetooth for app connection setting the bluetooth connection works however the wired apps don't work and it shows them on the radio as an option (pandora, aha, etc) It's almost like the 140 update is for 140 oonly and not for 130 maybe someone else can try it and confirm there is an issue. I would wait till this gets tested more before upd

Just an update, the 140 i think may be different than the 130 as far as upgrade. I have a 130 and it has a few issues with apps and bluetooth after 130 update.

random walk, just so i am 100 percent clear, you took the blackstone map update and put the verinfo.dat into it and it worked for 140, does that mean it will work for 130? Also, any password of passwordpassword or no password at all?

I think verinfo.dat needs to be changed out. Can anyone elaborate on what this file does?

I am presumming we have to have the 2013 cardinfo.cif to get the radio into the update mode. So what I am seeing is the Z130bt (the unit I have) has a 2015 map part number of T1000-23348 from here : http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Navteq-Site/Navteq/en_GB/documents/Pioneer/Pioneer%2011-12%20High%202015%20Manual%20T1000-23348.pdf When I go into Alldata.htm within the update folder I see part number T1000-23346 Is there any kind of checking prior to the update? hey drpaul, I ended up upgrading my software to 5.0 2013 maps on my z130bt then tried the 5.1 update also in hopes I could get the cd-iv202navi cable to work with iphone 5s for appradio again but it is funky and I am looking to revert back to 5.0. did you make any progress taking out the 5.1?
