  1. Hi, Just as the title suggests, I was wondering if a rear view camera can be hooked up to this model? Thanks.
  2. At least some of it does. For example, I know that the bass boost and the bass reducers on the IPOD do carry over through the D3. Couldn't figure out why my D3 sounded like crap all of the sudden and eventually noticed that I had the bass reducer on on one of my IPODS. Turned it back off and everything sounded great again.
  3. Should go like this... 1. Reverse wire goes to avic 2. Ignition (VCC) power to camera 3. ground to camera 4. video wire from camera to avic.
  4. I got mine with one of my D3's for free from Crutchfield. If you order it from Crutchfield it is 149. However, they go for 86 bucks all day long on Ebay. Good luck.
  5. I would suggest the Boyo VTL-400. I just installed it on one of my cars. Really easy to install and works great. You can see great at night, perfect in the daylight, and the wide ange view is great too. It somewhat blends in with your license plate too. I plan to get one more for my other car now.
  6. Like jaedee said, just make sure your insurance covers it. Making it really hard to steal might actually cause the potential theif to cause more damage to your dash if they get pissed, annoyed, or just try really hard to get it out. They will just try to rip it out anyway they can.
  7. This is not exactly true. Before connecting to itunes you just open your ipod as a removeable disk. Set your computer to "View hidden files and folders". After that you can see all of the music files, copy or pull them out, and store on your computer. Its really easy.
  8. I had the same problem. Shortly afterwards I was messing with my computer and noticed that many of the wires in the computer use the exact same connector. If you have any unused wires in your computer you may be able to use one as a replacement.
