if you have the map version 2.00004 or whatever, does that signify you have the most current version of the maps??i guess what i am asking is, is there two different numbers, one for like the software that runs the maps and then another version for the actual database of maps.. so you could have the newest map software, all the bulidings and extras but still have an outdated version of the maps???or are they the same thing??? the reason i ask, i did the upgrade to 3.0.1.1 without the upgrade disks and just wondering if i might have an older map database because there are still some roa

i have a f700bt with the3.0.1 upgrade..i see all of these cool mods and would love to do some on my f700 but really don't want to mess anything up..i know just enough to probably ruin my unit..i live in wesley chapel, fl..about 20 minutes outside of tampa..if anybody who has good knowledge wants to make some extra money and come help me get a couple of these mods installed, please pm me..i have a garage right off to the side of my office so it would be pretty easy.. thanks dave

if you have a f700bt that has been upgraded to the v.3.0.1 software should we be posting here??? if so, let me give you my thoughts on 5 days with the upgrade... i think it is a tremendous upgrade from the f series..i could not be happier especially since i did not have to dole out 120$..how could pioneer have the audacity to ask people who paid full price for a product that everyone including themselves had so many issues to deal with???it is mind boggling... the x700 fixes MOST of the issues that i had before..although i never had that many issues with my f..the biggest issues i

first off "ill die" thanks very much for responding..this site for the most part has great users who look to help people more then flame them because they don't know as much as they do.. anyway i don't know how but i just entered in a city address and hit map and the landmarks are there..stadiums, everything...very cool...i didn't see them because i hadn't driven anywhere yet that would have them and got worried when i saw my map as 2004.0... i see all of these instructions on here and i couldn't get anything to work and all i did was the update for the x seriers to 3.0.1 on pioneer an

no one has hacked the new ezrider yet, regarding your map, are you sure it's 2204? or ist 2008.04? also, check the number beside it as it would say something like (090514) which means that it is from may 14 2009, maybe im not talking about the right thing..when i clcik on service information, it says maps 2.00400..i guess maybe that is not it..there is an option to turn 3d landmarks on..am i talking about something else as far as the version goes???

i completed the upgrade through pioneer to 3.0.1 but still have the 2004 maps..how do i upgrade to the maps with the 3d landmarks and such??i have seen post about ezrider<?>..if there is a link with instrutions that would be fine too..us f700bt...thanks...

DN01 - I tried to boot up the prioneer file (the LPUE080 file, correct?) three different times; once when the older WinCE was re-installed, and again after the new WinCE files were added back. And a third time after I put the newer 'my flash disk' back on the system. (do I need to do anything else prior to adding this update?) Argh! What am I doing wrong? Any other suggestions out there? Thanks! all i did, and trust me my system would not boot with any card in it..it would just black out after the pioneer symbol, was go to pioneer print there directions for upgrading to the 3.0.1.

now that i have the update from pioneer 3.0.1 and the old maps 2.0.4 i think, i'm hoping someone can tell me there is a nice easy way to just update the maps...1 step would be nice, i really don't want to have to start abusing diet pills to stay awake long enough to do this tonight..thanks!!!

i went through the exact same thing..just do the update from pioneer..you will have the older maps but it is simple and takes 15 minutes..update the maps later...

i can not believe the day that i have just been through..let me start from the beginning... Last night i went to bed very late, about 4am and i took the day off because i am literally making myself sick from sleep deprivation..well at about 8am my internal clock woke me up so i took a piss, got a glass of water and figured i'd check my fantasy baseball teams..well eversince i installed the new i.e and yahoo i have all my favorites on top of my browser which includes this site..well i made the fateful decision and clicked on it and saw that i could try to install 3.0 on my f700..what a fate

somehow i deleted some files from windows that i should not have..startup.exe..cdmmee.exe and maybe others..is there anyway to get these back as they are not on the update cards...

yeah when i go into windows in test mode and go to the startup file, there is no startup.exe..the folder is empty..i probably deleted it somehow..anyway, im back words gradin to an official 2.0 to get my system up and then will do the upgrade over..thanks for the tip on the stylus..perfect now..

ok i followed your instructions and step 1 went perfectly, put in the testmode 2.3 sd card, got into testmode no prob the put in the torrent file unzipped and that went fine except for the fact that i cant get the edit button to engage becasue its so high up on my screen, i opened the torrent file to the my flash drive folder and then drug that to the taskbar where i had opened my device and then dragged it up to the other my flash drive folder.. everything copied just as it showed it should..xxxxxx to xxxxxx etc..it took 20 mins.. ok after that when i go to hold the green restart butt
