  1. My X940 matches the harness in the first video and not the second but the method for removing the pin is better in the second.
  2. In my own opinion, if I had it to do over again, I would avoid Pioneer. Mine has been the buggiest head unit I've ever had. Pioneer refuses to provide timely map updates which I count on for business. I've applied mods to the unit just to help myself feel better for buying one but I'm still very disappointed in it. To properly support their product and keep customers happy, map updates should be available once a year for a minimum of 6. My wife's factory unit in her car we bought in 2006 still has updates available every year.
  3. I get the impression nobody's answering freezing questions. Bummer. I wish there was someone with answers.
  4. Okay, I received my CNSD-200FM Update from Pioneer (got here surprisingly fast). I updated my F710BT to the latest. I decided to install this Mod today and I have to say HOW COOL!!! I totally love it!!! You people are awesome!!! Thanks a million, everyone! I can't wait to try some other stuff!
  5. Do you have a favorite ZIP program you use? I'm really thinking that's my issue.
  6. Thanks. It's amazing how different it looks. I didn't want to assume that since this thread was in this forum it applied to all F series units. I'm excited to try it out!
  7. Will this mod work on an AVIC F710BT? Looks fantastic! I've been searching through the posts and if I were to guess it would be yes. I just can't find a post confirming it. TX
  8. Tried the route delete portion. Everything seemed fine except it would never get past the System Startup Please wait message. I noticed the Data.zip file I recreated was 11+Megs vs. the original at 5+Megs. Replaced with the backup data.zip (5Meg) I made and all is good again. Could it be my zip program?
