wow this is amazing very nice.
I know i may get flamed for this but how did you manage to change the backround on the unit? as far as i know you were only able to change the on the d1 and d2. Or did they find an update for that?

It's pretty easy actually just not as intuitive as we think it should be. I will do a DIY for the D3 soon on how to update your background image. It's simple and you don't need to do anything complicated. I would tell you right now, but I don't have the exact steps or screen names to give you proper instructions.
I am thinking about designing something more interesting but just haven't had the time, so decided to go with just the crest. Simple is nice too sometimes.

The kit will soon be available for other Porsche models as well as other double din units (Apline, Eclipse, Kenwood, JVC, etc.). We have already manufactured the parts and will test fit them tomorrow.
