I live in San Fernando Valley, can I just go to the local store in West LA and get it direct from him? or do i have to go to the Burbank store in order to get the discount? I also wanted to see if they can install it for me as well...

Same for me. I live in Pasadena and I'd love to just go and pick up the device.

Yes, you could call him (Elie) in his West LA store 310.854.5454, or email him at [email protected] and tell him that you are part of the AVIC411 group buy and he will facilitate whatever product you want to buy from him. Even ship them to you if you want to, or as you prefer to come to his store instead. Hope this helps. :D

All the best,

thats a pretty good quote but anyone in Houston TX should go to my guy Auto Sound Discounters they are installing the unit everything for $895 tell them David sent you and your good to go. Ask for Sam he is the guy I deal with all the time. They are good people and will do you right. He has 5 in stock and waiting on 100 more that have been backordered...

Thanks for the heads up...I'll look em up. Are they an authorized dealer meaning I'd get the pioneer warranty?

Edit: Double post

Sweet. That's a pretty good discount. I might have to pick some other stuff up as well... my 4 channel amp has kind of been struggling lately... although their selection of 4CH amps is somewhat lackluster.

Now only if their website wasn't so unbearably slow!

How are those American International installation kits compared to the Metra ones? I never got an install kit when I put in my D3 and just used the black trim bezel that came with it, which left a bit of a gap. The metra trim kit looked like a very good fit to me, and I want to get this one right.

I placed an order last night and never got an email confirmation.

I got a confirmation email less than 5 minutes after ordering. Maybe you put the wrong email address in?

could someone order one for me and then ship to canada

Do you recommend that Al & Ed's install it for me? I have a 2002 Escalade and they will need to do a little trimming, so I am trying to find someone to do an excellent job installing it, any suggestions, I live in LA.

Anyone know how easy it is to cancel an order with sonicelectronix. I placed my order last week and they already charged my cc. However I feel like I just wasted $200 now that we have the discount code for al & eds. I think I'll be placing a call to them sometime this week...

Let us know how that goes, I may want to do the same.

If they haven't shipped the item yet, there should be no reason why you can't get a full refund.

I live in LA and have always used Al & Ed's. I have never had a problem with any of their installs, and the people there have always been really cool to me. They have a gallery on their website maybe check out their work to see if you want them to work on your car, but they definitely have my thumbs up. :D

Ok, thanks for the response, I will see how much they are going to charge me for the installation on my 2002 Escalade, which store do you go to?

Hey guys,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for giving us an opportunity to hook up the members of avic411! We currently have in stock 20 AVICF90BT with 100 more coming and about 150 AVICF700BT with 200 plus on the way! While the AVIC90BT does have the DVD ability the AVICF700BT is a screaming deal available after discount under $700!

I've read in the thread various things that I can probably help you out on. Instead of going to the website to check stuff out or for assistance, you can call Travis in customer service directly at (888) 900-8800 or via emaiL at [email protected] and he will be able to help all you guys out with any questions you might have.

Being we have stores in Southern California the website doesn't ship to this area. However, this offer will be good at any of our stores. And yes, our stores are definitely able to professionally install these units in your vehicles. As I saw mentioned above, we have an excellent gallery on our website titled "Extreme Rides" which showcases our talented installers work. All Al & Ed's locations offer a lifetime warranty on our installation labor, that's transferable to all stores too!

Thanks again guys for bonding together to allow us to put together a special like this for avic411.com! And again, if you have any questions contact Travis with the contact info listed above.

Hey guys - for those of you who ordered with sonic electronix, no problem canceling my order (since they dont even have the units yet). They said it would take one day to refund my credit card. Thanks al & ed for saving me $200! :)

Just went to Al & Ed's in Costa Mesa and bought the 90bt with the discount code. Woo!

Gotta come pick it up tomorrow since they didn't have it on the shelves today. :(

But $1130 after tax with harnesses and dash kit. Not bad... not bad at all..

Posted Jun 10, 2008 · 21:18 UTC#125
That is one SWEEEET deal.

I've never ordered from Al & Ed's before and think I'm missing something...

I live in SoCal and the checkout says: "It appears that you live outside of our shipping area. Please visit our store locator to find a store near you for pickup." under Delivery Method.

Do you continue with the checkout anyways? How do you choose a store to pickup from?

For the rest of you in So Cal you can type your Zip into our store locater here:
