just wondering when the updates comes out can we buy burned copies of it? will those work in our units...or do we have to pay $250 for a damn new disc

is it strictly a map update? I am wondering if they will add better bluetooth compatibility. For example; iPhone address book transfer? I a clean address book transfer is all I need and the F-series was going to be my choice but it's having a shit load of bluetooth problems.

I was wondering the same thing. I am having one hell of a time getting my phone to pair with the adapter. Hopefully this is more than just maps. lol

I wonder if there is any way to burn them and sell a bunch of copies? That would be great. I am about to get my D3 in a week and I dont feel like spending another 250 for some upgraded maps.

You could burn tons of copies and sell them on ebay or whatever... but burning and selling copyrighted material is pretty damn illegal, and if you do that, depending on how much you do it and if you get caught, you could end up with a fine or even jail time.

You could also rip a disk image and upload it as a torrent for others to download for free. Also illegal, but also not really ever monitored all that much so chances are you won't get in trouble for that.

Everything with an orange mark next to it has had at least 1 new post since the last time you were at the site. Everything without an orange mark next to it has not changed since the last time you were here.

What are the chances that Pioneer will make the update available for less that $250 for those of us who bought the D3 during the blowout before May 31st ?

Have they ever done that before ?
