You are clearly not in the US so this doesn't apply to you.

i just purchased a x7115bt, I am interested in having the mod done. Is there a place I could take it to in washington or a member that has done it that could assist?

I heard this works for the X920 also, or am I mistaken. I thought the bypass for the x920 was to move the wire one spot over, this one is one down 3 to the right. im confused. Thanks for any info...

Its true for the previous X series only. Not the 920.

Hi ,

every one he has Pioneer Avic F500bt

i have Bypassed mijn after along time of searching in the internet I was sad that i can't find the way

but after i read the Bypass for Avic F700bt and the speaking about breaking park speed and cutting wires

i went to my car i toke my avic out and all cables then i found the breaking park wire witch has this lable

" breaking park "

****** Conect this wire to the Ground wire ********

That's it .......Done

Now I have fully control of my avic

playing video while driving

using all settings

full control of my Nav

full control

I hope that i did something makes the owners of the avic F500bt happy

if some one else found this way and post it here and i did not see it before sorry for this because i was tired form long searching and i did not find it before

Hello everyone, I have an AVIC-X9115BT

Do both methods of bypass (hardware and software) work well for this AVIC?

Thanks!

Yes they do, I would prefer the Hardware bypass though, it is not hard to do and it works 100%!

Hi

I just bought a AVIC-F30BT, how do I bypass it?

My car has a can bus adaptor (Skoda SuperB)

If I look in post 1, I should move the mute wire, my problem is the myte wire in this radio is in pen 1 and not 2

and the place where it should be moved to, there is allready a wire.

And the hand brake wire goes into the canbus adaptor.

Should I cut the handbrake wire from canbus adaptor and then ground the handbrake wire from the radio?

hope you guys can help me out

Best regards

Hi all...

i read every post about software bypass.... but i don't know how to do it.

i can get into testmode and i copied USER folder and NDATA folder to SD, i search DATA.ZIP file but i can`t find it.

Please, i need help about that.

I've got an AVIC-F840BT, fw ver 4.001.... on a Golf MKV with DSG... i can play videos without handbrake, but when the car reaches about 10km/h the warning message appears.

Thank u.

I have an AVIC-F9220BT.

I have the exact same problem. Can't find DATA.ZIP file in any of the folders.

I have an AVIC-F9220BT.

The reason why some of you (including my self) can't find the DATA.ZIP file is that it is only on units with Igo navigation.

In my case (AVIC-F9220BT) the navigation is Pioneer's own navigation software.

Hello, I know this is an old post however, I'm a newbie to this stuff with the Pioneer head units.  I recently bought an AVIC-X4500BT.  Will moving the mute wire from row 1 and pin 1 to 2nd row, pin 4 work for this model?  also, does anyone know if there are hacks/mods i can do for this model?  i'm hearing not much for the AVIC model but just wanted to check with you all.
