I have been away from this forum for a long time. Can anyone confirm that this is the same bypass for the X950BT?
AVIC "F" Series Bypass (Picture Guide)
Hallo,
for what is this bypass ?
Thnx
I have a F90BT and had done the hard wire bypass on my system that worked fine. Recently the stereo froze up on me so I sent it in to get it repaired which involved getting the navigation board replaced. The outfit I sent it into also took it upon themselves to up-grade the maps in my system while they were at it. When I got it back, the bypass no longer worked, so I uninstalled the maps they put on it and reinstalled the maps I originally had on it and now the bypass works fine again, If anyone else has done the hard wire bypass and have everything hooked up correctly and it's still not working correctly you may have to do the software bypass for it to work if you have the newer maps on it.
Hallo,

Read the first part of this thread.
I have a small question.
I own a F940BT, and there is a possibility to disable this security via OSD.
Is there any reason to do this bypass, besides the fact that this is illegal in my (like most) country ? Do I only gain the possibility of watching some videos while driving ?
Thank you for your replies.
Hi,
can anyone tell me how to do this on a f9310bt. Also will doing this bypass effect the sat nav function?
hi every body,
I own anAvic F9310bt. I share my experience about bypassing.
Following this tuto erything works fine.
I've moved mute to pin 4 (pin is write on the connector) then I grounded it with the parking break sensor (the green one) and everything is ok.
Thanks a lot
Just continue like that.

With this method I can read videos while driving and it's unlock satnav function while driving too.
where is first topic picture ?
hi, i own a F940BT and i tried to move the mute on the upper row same position as described for the X930BT and it is not working.
As the pics are no longer on the 1st page i tried to find some infos on the move to another pin here and it states to the 4th position on the other row. unfortunately on my white harness on the other row i have 5 cables plugged and the next free one is on 6 position.
As you can see i'm a bit desperate to find a solution to be able to access the parameter icon that remains greied.
Any help is mooooore than welcomed !!
Thx
