my ribbon just broke anybody have an idea where to buy one? my screen is stuck about an inch out

im not sure if its the ribbon. I took the unit apart and slid the screen. the ribbons looked good.. i put the unit together and plugged it back in and the screen sucked back in and its on but wont come out.. it still has about 3/4inch to go back in and not sure what it is...anybody have an idea?

I replaced the spring switch and ribbon on my Avic-n3 and now it works great. The switch is available from encompass for $3.50 over night shipping cost me $33 wtf, and the ribbon I got off ebay from a guy for $53 but didnt include the metal piece like specified in details. Thanks for the information about switch and ribbon. Not easy at all to replace

Does this repair also work for the N4? My screen comes about a .5 inch out and then stops. Thanks!

Okay I have a flip out touch screen radio just a generic really no name brand one from Amazon and it just quit one day haven't even had it 6 months. the flip screen comes out but it's stuck on the touch calibration screen and I have reset it 100 times and it's stuck on whatever radio station and settings it was before it got stuck... Now when it first comes on you have about 3 seconds when you can hit the reset button and that's it that's all it will do anybody have any insight into this???
