lol I am working on Kitt as we speak.
I am also working on the video but its taking a little longer then I thought due to the fact that I had to reformat my computer a few days ago and now I am taking everything out from backups.
I will have this done soon.

Adobe Captivate is an excellent program. You can output instructions/videos in multiple formats. It even writes out the steps for you.
Ex: Click here, type this, open this file, etc.

Ok Well here is the Long awaited Video, on how to do this mod your self. I did this last Nigt so its not perfect. If I see that every one still is having a hard time I will redo it and make a better part 2.
Also I sound like I am 12 when I am actually 20 in this video I dont know why. Bad mic voice.

Hey, so I registered here after watching your videos. Really a great idea, and I will give it a try once I get my 90bt I ordered a few hours ago. But question, if you have the .ogg files already changed over, why not upload them so we can just download the ones you have made instead of making them ourselves over and over? I am pretty interested in the Kitt one, but as I recall you said something about a minor problem with it from video 3.
o sorry I was not so clear on this, I have the .ogg for yoda already cut and converted, not for kitt.
And the main problem with this hole Mod is that in the kitt. ogg or yoda w/e in the kitt ogg file U can see how there is no 1.ogg or 2.ogg etc.. Like in the Oem Avic File, well I figured if people can find clips them selves and post them it would help so we can all finally get a fully working voice Mod going.
and My biggest reason for the videos is because I am Going to upload way.... more voices people can chose from later today.
Ah, thanks for the clarification. I get my F90bt in the mail, supposedly, Thursday. Will be installing it myself right away...so I can't wait to change the nav voice to something a little more fun. =]

if Someone is willing to put the time into doing it. Then absolutely yea. This is why I made all the videos and such. so that some one would actually try doing this and finish it up.
Its not Hard and very doable people just need to be willing to put in some time.
Well im semi-skilled in programming/coding (albeit about 5yrs rusty thanks to a Sales job!) and im sure im upto helping out with this kinda stuff in some way.
What are we lacking at the moment HackZ? Do we have all the sounds we need or are we still missing some to complete the file? because i can scan the web and try to find Kitt voice saying the words we need and then extract/cut it into a wav/mp3 file or something.
Lets get a plan together, and work on 1 of them at a time (Kitt first pls!).. first step gather all the sounds required, then once we have them we can work to cutting them into the files we need and then we can turn them into files the AVIC can read, then test and enjoy! 
I would love to help you out, If you can follow the videos I put up and get up to the part where we have no more audio files left "like 1.ogg" Im on board.
Pick any voice you want Kitt or anything I posted up.

I'm not sure where you got those files. I am interesting in helping, I'm configuring my PC now with all the applications that I need to run the conversions.
Thanks for all the other voices, but I can see that they also have the same issue as Kit, where did you get all these? Tom Tom? We need those numbers! Any thoughts applications I can use to pull the audio off of movies?

I found 3 sites with some KITT .wav files, but haven't gone through them..

FOUND IT.
Every KITT wav file from all 4,841 shows! Only down part is the $60 to purchase it, but I am willing to go in on it!

Let me know if you can get the files you found, That would get this Mod Rolling Ten Fold. We could start cutting clips and adding them to the file ASAP.
marmski, Glade to know you program. Theres a few files I would like you to take a look at and tell me if you can figure something out with it. The file is "commands.csv". in here I believe if we recode it I am almost sure we can skip the whole Renaming everything step. Just take a look let me know what u figure out.

HackZ - I got your PM so i'll add you to MSN when i get home from work and we can have a chat a bit later. Ideally we could do with getting it to mimic TomTom files, however i think our chances of pulling that off will be limited.
