Can you guys answer a question for me.

My installer put in XM and I have not activted XM yet.

There is no sound coming out put I see the channel.

Should you still be able to listen to the Emergency Band Etc with sound even though you haven't activated XM for your account to get all the stations????

I had this problem. Move the IP Bus cable from IN to OUT on the XM Interface (or OUT to IN).. its backwards ;)

Yup IP cables backward. Had that too!

Could see the channel and info but no audio!

can you get best of xm on your sirius

Yes......Just wait though....the linups will be merging in a month or so....

Looks like all the music channels have merged as of today. The only differences between XM and Sirius now are the talk and sports offerings. I never listen to anything but music so I just ordered the XM box to replace my Sirius setup. The XM display is much nicer on the F90BT

Can anyone post a pic of what the XM interface looks like on a F-series unit? I have the sirius hooked up and it has a horrible display. I have about 25 days left to exchange it. 8)

anyone know if you still have time left on your sirius subscription, can you buy an XM receiver and transfer the service?

I have not been out to my truck today, but I have XM and Sirius. Can anyone confirm that the channels (ie XM's 80s on 8, and the Sirius 80s on 8) are playing the exact same playlist at the same time? If so, time for me to dump one.

I have a Pioneer AVIC-Z3 and once they combined XM channels, most of the XM channel icons show up as a satellite image. Hopefully there will be a Pioneer firmware update to resolve this. This is a major disappointment.

That has to do with the satallite tuner, not the avic.....what tuner are u using? My pioneer xm tuner has icons for the new merged sirius stations, and my xm stations....

It is the GEX-P10XMT. I saw in another thread that the map update will bring the new station icons in April 2009. What tuner do you have?

Thanks,

Rocky
